We held a fundraising breakfast today in Moshi, aimed at supporting the Save Mount Kilimanjaro Campaign through the planting of trees. The event was organized in partnership with the Office of the Regional Commissioner Moshi and saw the generous support of Bonite Bottlers and TANAPA.
The campaign's primary objective is to combat deforestation and promote environmental sustainability around the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro. Thanks to the overwhelming support from attendees and partners, the event successfully raised funds to plant 7,110 trees, marking a significant achievement in the ongoing effort to preserve the natural beauty and ecological health of the region.
The Nessa Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to all the supporters, with special recognition to Regional Commissioner Office, Bonite Bottlers, TANAPA, Zara, Shah Tours and Travel Ltd whose contributions were instrumental in making the event a success. Their dedication to environmental conservation continues to inspire and drive meaningful action within the community.
