 
                                    Vanessa R. Williams-Nash is the Executive Director of The Conference of Black Mayors (CBM), aiming to connect the African Diaspora through the Office of the Mayor, resulting in a global network of over 32,000 mayors of African lineage, including 600 African American mayors in the U.S. Under her leadership, CBM has become a prominent force in the redevelopment and sustainability of vulnerable communities worldwide, securing over $125 million in New Market Tax Credits for Gulf Coast communities impacted by Hurricane Katrina.
Throughout her career, Vanessa has been recognized for her achievements, serving as the African American Outreach Coordinator for U.S. Senator Harry Reid and President Barack Obama's campaigns. She has received awards such as the Trailblazer Award from the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and a Porsche Outstanding Woman (POW) Award. Besides her professional accomplishments, Vanessa takes pride in being a mother to two children and raising four others with her supportive husband. She actively participates in her local church, Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain, GA.
